Student/Pupil Prefects
The prefects are invested with the authority of the school to assist in the day-to-day running of the schools from an administrative and disciplinary point of view. They are students and pupils whose leadership qualities and general contribution to school highlight them as role models and indicate that they have sufficient loyalty, discretion, initiative and flexibility to serve the school in special capacity. The primary role of the prefects is to lead by example and to participate in decision-making processes. They are equally expected to represent the views of the students/pupils to the school authorities, in all situations where this is important. They are expected to guide, encourage others and where necessary, criticise and help to eradicate unacceptable conduct or indecent personal presentation. The prefects are also expected to communicate with, and seek the advice of teacher and administrator from time to time.
