With over 500 students in Statesman secondary school and over 400 pupils in Statesman nursery and primary school, students in each year are divided into two class sections labelled A and B in the secondary school, while each year has only one section in the nursery/primary school. Class teacher is attached to each section and remains with the class for at least one academic session. There are two opportunities for class teachers to meet formally with their students on a weekly basis:
- Daily during attendance taking (morning and evening)
- Termly during teachers-students interaction
Class teachers are responsible for the pastoral care of all the students/pupils in their class and try as much as possible to get a true portrait of each student/pupil to enable them to make useful report to the Principal and their parents. They monitor the work and behaviour of each student/pupil frequently and see that their classes obey the rules and regulations of the school.
Subject teachers are divided into faculties in the secondary school and classes in the nursery/primary school. The Vice Principal and Headmaster organise regular meetings in each school and also meet with the Director and the Directress as a group and on an individual basis.
